The One Love Manchester benefit happened earlier this month and it was a beautiful expression of love. Ariana Grande threw the concert to raise money for victims of the May terrorist attack.
The star-studded concert was more moving than anyone could have predicted. Stars like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Coldplay and more came together to stand with Manchester. It obviously meant the world to Grande to have the support of approximately 50,000 people in the wake of the terrorist attack at her concert that left 22 dead. She was moved to tears several times while performing.
“I want to thank you for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified,” Grande said while onstage.
She lined up some incredible people to play for Manchester and the setlist popped up on Twitter prior to the show. Since the concert was streaming online, fans far and wide were excited after seeing the list.

Although some artists strayed from the list, the biggest thing missing from it was Liam Gallagher. The 44-year-old was Grande’s big surprise and he did not disappoint. Gallagher sang Oasis‘ “Rock ‘n Roll Star” and was joined by Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, for “Live Forever.”
Coldplay were onstage before Gallagher and they led a singalong with “Viva la Vida,” “Something Just Like This” and the beautiful “Fix You.” The audience could be heard singing every word. Martin also had Grande join him on the stage as he dedicated Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger” to her and the victims’ families. It was beautiful.

The entire Manchester benefit was benefit was moving but they kept it upbeat, for the most part. Grande played her hits like “Side to Side,” because it’s what the fans she lost would have wanted.
