Independence Day is tomorrow and it’s time to plan your holiday drink menu. Blue Chair Bay rum has some deliciously American cocktails that are perfect for your 4th of July plans.
As always, Blue Chair Bay’s team created drinks for the upcoming holiday. This time around it’s red, white and blue shots and spicy watermelon sips. Below are just a few of the rum’s featured cocktails.
Home of the Brave Shot
This red, white and blue shot is pretty and festive! The colors of the flag are layered in a tall shot glass. It requires half an ounce of their white rum, half an ounce of clear orange liqueur and half an ounce of grenadine. The blue portion comes from .25 ounce of blue curaçao. All American
This drink may not feature all the colors of our great flag, but it’s still pretty festive. The All American has Blue Chair Bay’s white rum, island punch schnapps, lemonade and grenadine. It’s refreshing and tasty, without being too sweet. And don’t forget the Firecracker popsicle for an extra patriotic touch.

- .5 oz. island punch schnapps
- 4 oz. lemonade
- 1 oz. grenadine
Spicy Watermelon Chiller
This is Blue Chair Bay’s most unique 4th of July cocktail. Nashville Noise’s Independence Day cookout will definitely include one (or more) of these tasty treats. All you need is their coconut rum, lime juice, simple syrup, watermelon puree, spicy watermelon mix and ice. That recipe is here.
