Nashville’s 4th Annual Empanada Tasting Set for Sept. 5

The Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce (TLACC) are getting ready for their annual empanada tasting. This year, the TLACC and TPAC are hosting their fourth annual event on Sept. 5 at War Memorial Auditorium

They’re inviting folks out to “explore the flavor, culture and rich diversity of Middle Tennessee’s thriving Latin American communities while supporting Latino-owned businesses and enjoying a delicious variety of empanadas.”

This is the first year the celebration of Latino culture has been held at War Memorial Auditorium. Aside from tasty food, there will be lively music, networking and the opportunity to vote for your favorite empanada. The best empanada will win an audience prize.

Tickets to the event are $25 in advance and come with four empanadas of your choice. The ticket also includes a dessert and a soft drink or water. They’ll also have additional snacks and drinks as well as a cash bar. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available for $30 on the day of the event. The party starts at 5:30 PM on Sept. 5.

Tickets to the annual empanada tasting are on sale now. You can purchase yours through TPAC’s website or by calling (615) 782-4040.
