We got to spend a pretty memorable night at the Belcourt Theatre for the Nashville premiere of The Rivals of Amziah King.
Before watching the film, we grabbed some of the Belcourt’s ridiculously good popcorn (obviously). Then, writer/director Andrew Patterson introduced the movie. After the viewing, Matthew McConaughey joined The Last Bison for a special performance we won’t soon forget.
And I’ll admit, hearing The Last Bison perform after the screening was probably my favorite part of the night. Their music was one of my favorite things about the film, so getting to hear it live, with Matthew McConaughey there, was a pretty special way to end the evening.
The evening was a pretty perfect Nashville combination: an indie film at one of the city’s most beloved theaters and live music to cap it all off.
