Jack White and Third Man Records are in the giving spirit. They’re hosting a turkey and non-perishable goods drive for the Nashville Rescue Mission.
The Thanksgiving spirit is spreading with the holiday just a few weeks away. Third Man Records and White want to help the hungry this holiday season with a food drive of their own. They’re asking for a frozen turkey that is 10 pounds or larger, #10 can of green beans, corn or mixed vegetables, cornbread mix, stuffing mix, a can of cranberry sauce, sugar or coffee. These items will benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission, which is a partner of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
They want to thank anyone who donates so they’re giving you a gift in return. Each donor gets the opportunity to get a 30% discount code for White’s upcoming show at Bridgestone Arena. He’s playing the home of the Nashville Predators on Nov. 20 with Margo Price and Joshua Hedley. Donors also get entered to win a White signed Boarding House Reach test pressing and they get entered to have their tickets upgraded to side stage seats.
If you’re interested in donating and possibly winning big, you can bring the items to Third Man Records or to the Bridgestone Arena box office during normal business hours between now and Nov. 18th. Each additional donation of a turkey or three non-perishables equals an additional entry into the ticket upgrade sweepstakes. Winners will be chosen at random and notified on Nov. 19.
To get your discount code, you must donate in the following way:
A) One frozen turkey (10 lbs+) –Â (Drop off at Third Man Records only)
