Brad Paisley Hopes His Signature Fender Guitar will Inspire Young Artists

Brad Paisley has teamed up with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) to create an artist signature guitar. The singer hopes his Brad Paisley Road Worn Telecaster will make a difference in the lives of young artists.

Paisley’s guitar for Fender may look familiar to fans because it’s very similar to one he regularly strums. Paisley himself plays a sparkly silver Telecaster. Although it’s different than his, he had a hand in creating it and hopes it’s an attainable purchase for aspiring artists.

“The best thing about having a Fender Signature Telecaster is the unwavering quality associated with the brand’s legacy and confidence that I’m introducing a great guitar at an incredible price point,” he says. “I set out to create a guitar that was accessible for the vast majority of young people out there, who I hope to inspire to change the world with musical dreams.”

Paisley helped design the guitar that has a lightweight, custom-made body. They describe it as having a “resonant paulownia center core.” It’s also a comfortable hold thanks to the V-shaped neck. As far as looks are concerned, it has a gorgeous sparkly silver coat and a paisley pickguard.

Its medium jumbo frets create a blues sound and its sonic palette has “the right amount of rough and tumble energy.” This signature guitar is sure to inspire young artists interested in any genre of music.

“Brad’s influence has reached every corner of modern guitar playing realm and music at large across all genres — not just country,” the Senior Vice President of Fender Products, Justin Norvell, says. “Not only is it a beautiful guitar, but it has some amazing, unique features that we developed directly with him, namely the lightweight body and hot pickups. We amalgamated features from several of his favorite guitars, resulting in a truly compelling instrument we hope will empower players everywhere.”

The Grammy-winning singer’s signature guitar will be officially revealed this summer at NAMM.
