Nashville Noise recently sat down with Matt Stell to discuss his forthcoming music. During our chat on Music Row, the country singer brought up what makes music “country” and that Lil Nas X “controversy.”
When he started telling us about we can expect from his music in the future (more on that soon), Stell stopped to discuss genre lines. “Nobody has one kind of music on their phone or on any playlist,” he said before transitioning to discuss “Old Town Road.”
“I totally see both sides of this non-controversy… The song is just steamrollin’. It’s doing great so I hope it’s not overshadowed by some thing that doesn’t matter.”
