Downtown Nashville restaurant, The Green Pheasant, is getting in the NFL Draft spirit. The 2019 NFL Draft comes to Nashville this Thursday (April 25) through this Sunday (April 27). There’s a ton happening around Music City, including an extended happy hour at The Green Pheasant.
Co-chefs Jess Benefield and Trey Burnette will serve happy hour favorites like their signature tantan tebasaki (chicken wings, dan dan sauce, chilies, peanuts), wedges (hibachi dressing, crunchy onion, golden sesame, myoga, carrots) and karaage (Japanese fried chicken with malted kewpie).
They’ll also have happy hour ramen available. That includes shio wontonmen (chashu, shrimp wonton, chicken and smoked ham broth, greens, menma, ajitama) and spicy crab mazemen (crab butter, sweet red crab, tobanjan).
Happy hour drink specials will also be available. They’ll have sake-based cocktails, wine and beer.
The Green Pheasant welcomes both guests and locals to these extended hours. On Thursday and Friday, they’ll extend their happy hour from 11 AM to 5 PM. On Saturday, it’ll extend from 12 PM to 5 PM. The restaurant is located at 215 1st Ave South (in the 222 2nd Ave South building), directly across from the main entrance to Ascend Amphitheater.
