‘Irving Berlin’s White Christmas’ at TPAC is Festive, Family Fun

The show is at TPAC through Nov. 18.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is now at TPAC! The musical is family-friendly fun that’ll get everyone in the holiday spirit.

This musical is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank. The music and lyrics are the originals by Berlin. These holiday favorites fill the musical, creating a classic Christmas production that’s perfect for the whole family.

This is the return of White Christmas to TPAC, it previously played in Nashville back in 2012. There are local actors in the production this time around. Conrad John Schuck is a Franklin resident and plays General Waverly while Springfield’s Jeremy Benton plays Phil Davis.

“I think performing at TPAC for me personally is different, especially with White Christmas,” Benton says. “It’s a movie I grew up watching in this state, in this town and now I’m literally doing that role in the stage version of that movie on the stage that I grew up coming and watching… There’s no other city I can claim that happening because that’s not my hometown.”

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is at TPAC from now through Nov. 18. Tickets range in price and there are even matinee shows on the weekend. Tickets and details are available on TPAC’s official website.

Bring the whole family and get them in the holiday spirit a little early. Even the kids will enjoy the music and the beautiful snowfall inside Andrew Jackson Hall. Don’t forget to stop by the concession stand and pick up a special holiday Goo Goo inspired by the show. TPAC and Goo Goo Cluster teamed up for the unique treat! It’s a white chocolate shell filled with dark chocolate peppermint ganache, crushed chocolate sandwich cookie and peppermint nougat with a peppermint bark base.
