Walker Montgomery is a budding country singer and the son of John Michael Montgomery. He gave us a few minutes of his time during CRS earlier this year.
While we were chatting with Montgomery about his newest song, “Like My Daddy Done It,” he opened up about his dad and his influence on his career. According to Montgomery, his dad stays out of his career about “99%,” letting him make his own choices. He mentioned that the country music staple just acts like dad, “not a business consultant.”
