Vince Gill Surprises Crowd at Successful Concert for Love and Acceptance

Ty Herndon‘s Concert for Love and Acceptance happened Thursday night during CMA Fest. The crowd loved every minute. They got performances from artists including Tanya Tucker, Thompson Square, Anita Cochran, Calum Scott and one big surprise.

The lengthy concert was held at Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville and was hosted by CMT’s Cody Alan and Herndon himself. The bill was lengthy and included beloved country singers like Terri Clark, Billy Dean and Herndon. There were also newcomers like Cale Dodds, Parson James, Brandon Stansell and our friends Temecula Road. Sprinkled in between we got to watch Cassadee Pope, Michael Ray and more. It was a night to remember.

CMA Fest’s GLAAD fundraiser included music we all know and love, coming out stories and artists just there to support the LGBTQ community. Notably, Cochran took the stage as a member of the band and as an artist. You wouldn’t know that, just hours before, she was getting a round of chemotherapy.

Scott was a standout performer of the evening, getting a huge response from the crowd. Everything from Scott’s gracious demeanor to his incredible vocal talent was show-stopping. If fans didn’t know his name before the show, they definitely remember it after.

Gill was the night’s big surprise guest. He was, of course, another standout. There’s nothing quite like seeing the talented singer perform, especially in a room full of adoring fans. Even after all these years, he’ll still take your breath away.
