Trace Adkins Way I Wanna Go Tour

Trace Adkins is hitting the road in 2020. His The Way I Wanna Go Tour 2020 kicks off April 15 in Lancaster with a total of 27 stops.

If you’ve ever seen Adkins’ live show, you know he plays his biggest hits for his fans. Songs like “You’re Gonna Miss This” and “Every Light in the House is On” charge his shows. The latter, which was released in 1996, is still one of Adkins’ signature songs and he’s making new fans through the some — some of them weren’t even born when the track was released.

“I’ll be on stage singing ‘Every Light in the House Is On’ and I look down at the crowd and realize that person right there wasn’t even alive when I recorded that song,” he says with a laugh. “To watch their face go, ‘Oh, that’s a cool hook, I like this…‘ it’s like, ‘Well, these songs still resonate today and are tried-and-true hits.’ It’s pretty special.”

Although you can expect to see his biggest hits during his The Way I Wanna Go Tour, fans may also get to see the Louisiana native perform new tunes. According to a release, he has a “new album on the horizon.”

A full list of tour dates are below and, although he doesn’t have a Nashville stop, he does have a date in Peachtree City. That’s just a short road trip from Music City. Pre-sale tickets for some of the dates are on sale now. Get the pre-sale code by joining Adkins’ online community here.
