The world-famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge is turning another year older. They’ll celebrate their 58th birthday on Oct. 10 with a huge party.
Nashville’s most famous honky-tonk ages well. They don’t look a day over 21 but, somehow, they’ve been around for almost 60 years. This year’s party is another epic one and it all goes down on Oct. 10 during an outdoor party on Broadway. The free event includes performances from Randy Houser, Terri Clark, Jake Owen, Kid Rock, Darryl Worley and Travis Tritt. Montgomery Gentry, John Stone, Anthony Orio, Scott Collier and more will also play.
The Nashville party will be hosted by Ty, Kelly and Chuck Mornings’ Ty Bentli, Kelly Ford and Chuck Wicks, as well as NASH Nights Live co-hosts Shawn Parr and Elaina Smith. The music starts at noon with the main show beginning at 5 PM.
“Tootsie’s Birthday Bash has become one of the most highly-anticipated annual events on lower Broadway,” said Tootsie’s owner Steve Smith. “Each year it gets bigger and better. Many artists started at Tootsie’s, and having them come back year after year is a great honor to the legacy and memory of Tootsie Bess! Everyone should come out and experience that magic on our 58th birthday.”
Although the slated lineup is already pretty impressive, surprise guests usually drop in during the party. Past surprise guests included Dierks Bentley, Colt Ford, Jamey Johnson and more.
Tootsies 58th Birthday Bash happens between 4th and 5th Avenue on Broadway and is free and open to the public.
