Top Six Tim McGraw Love Songs

Tim McGraw has no shortage of hit songs and many of those hits have been swoon-worthy love songs. It wasn’t easy to narrow down the list to his best love songs, but we did. Here are the top six love songs from McGraw.

    “She’s My Kind of Rain”

McGraw’s smooth vocals help make this simple song extra sweet. The song was released on his 2002 album, Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors. It became a Top 10 hit when it was released as a single and, no doubt, had couples holding each other close and slow dancing that year.

    “Shotgun Rider”

“Shotgun Rider” is upbeat and catchy but the lyrics still manage to hit you right in the feels. “I don’t ever wanna wake up, lookin’ into someone else’s eyes. Another voice calling me baby on the other end of the phone,” he sings.

    “I Just Love You”

This may be one of McGraw’s lesser-known love songs but it comes from his 2014 album, Love Story. This is another simple song, with simple lyrics, that only the Louisiana native could make as sweet as he does. Is there anything sexier than hearing him sing, “I love you”? We think not.

    “Just to See You Smile”

It’s impossible to create a list of top McGraw love songs without including this 1997 hit song. The track was the third single from Everywhere and you can actually feel the emotions he’s feeling in this one. Who doesn’t want someone to tell them they’d “do anything” to make them smile? Sigh.

    “My Best Friend”

“My Best Friend” is still a staple at the weddings of country music fans. “You’re more than a lover, there could never be another to make me feel the way you do,” he sings in the 1999 song.

    “It’s Your Love”

It’s easy to put this track at No. 1 on our list for a number of reasons and our Twitter followers agreed. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s singing to his real-life love or maybe it’s the fact that Faith Hill‘s voice actually graces the song. Whatever it is that makes this one special, it’s the real deal.
