Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins will bring the holidays to your living room on Nov. 30. Together, they’ll host CMA Country Christmas on ABC at 8 PM CST. They announced the news — virtually — on GMA.
“We can’t wait for y’all to watch that and get into the holiday spirit with us,” Rhett says as his wife (and best-selling author) grins next to him. The Akins family is big on the Christmas season and they start prepping as soon as Halloween is over. “We even had Halloween decorations up inside and Christmas lights outside.”
“We’re nothing shy of a little bit crazy when it comes to Christmas time,” Akins adds. “This year, everyone’s needed things to celebrate and look forward to so the second Halloween was over, I started decorating for Christmas.”
Performers for this year’s show include Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Lady A, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw and Darius Rucker with Lindsey Stirling. Check it out on Nov. 30.
