Tame Impala just announced a North American headlining tour with a Music City show. He’ll play Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on May 2.
Tame Impala is Kevin Parker and his last album, Currents, was released in 2015. With that record, he earned his second Grammy nomination. Parker is taking those songs, and more, on the road for this headlining tour. He’ll also play Asheville, St. Augustine and Miami.
Parker is from Perth, Australia and he’s been touring the US as Tame Impala since 2010. Back then, he played small crowds of 200 people. Now, he’s headlining a tour and headlining festivals like Coachella, Shaky Knees and more. As both a writer and producer, Parker has collaborated with Travis Scott, SZA, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Kanye West, Miguel and more.
Tickets for Tame Impala’s headlining tour go on sale Feb. 1 at 10 AM. See a full list of tour dates here.
