Taking Back Sunday are celebrating 20 years as a badass band. They just added even more tour dates to the celebration — including two Marathon Music Works stops.
Taking Back Sunday’s year-long celebration includes a worldwide tour that pays tribute to the catalog with full album performances and a 21-song career-spanning compilation album. The album, titled Twenty, is out now on Craft Recordings and features two new recordings.
The band announced their 2019 tour dates recently but, today, they added the second leg of their tour. The new dates kick off Sept. 13 in Kansas City and include stops in Atlanta, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale Nashville. The Music City shows happen on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17 at Marathon Music Works.
At every show, they’ll be performing Tell All Your Friends, their debut album, in its entirety. For tour stops (like Nashville) where they perform two nights, the nightly set will offer a double-album play using a specially designed coin. They’ll flip to either play Where You Want to Be or Louder Now in addition to Tell All Your Friends. For cities where they only have one night, they’ll perform Tell All Your Friends as well as some fan favorites from over the years.
Tickets and VIP packages will be available through the band’s official website. The VIP sale starts Feb. 27 at 11 AM CST and the public on-sale starts March 1 at 10 AM local time.
