Sylvan Park just got a little tastier. SuperNormal, a fresh fast-casual concept blending nostalgic American comfort food with chef-driven creativity, is now open!

SuperNormal isn’t your average burger-and-hot-dog joint. It’s the newest project from powerhouse culinary duo Chef Robbie Wilson and Emily Perry Wilson, who are returning to Nashville after more than a decade of West Coast cooking and hospitality. Now, with their new hospitality group, 74 and Sunny, the Wilsons are bringing that same thoughtful approach to the Nashville scene, starting with SuperNormal and, later this year, a new restaurant called Lion’s Share.

The Sylvan Park menu leans heavily into comfort food but with a twist. Think burgers layered with smoky pickled shiitake mushrooms and house-made “SuperNormal Sauce,” or hot dogs loaded with bacon marmalade, chile-spiked cabbage, and yuzu cream cheese (anyone else drooling?). Vegetarian and gluten-free options are on deck, and everything is wrapped in cleverly designed packaging that keeps your food fresh, whether you’re dining al fresco or grabbing takeout on the go.

For a sweet finish, don’t sleep on the buttercream soft serve (served in a mochi-style waffle cone!) or sip something from their playful drink lineup. That includes fresh pink lemonade, oolong iced tea, a house cold brew, and Tokyo Nights (a seasonal brew made just for SuperNormal).

Designed with the community in mind, the space features picnic tables and a relaxed outdoor setup perfect for summer hangs. SuperNormal is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 10 PM. You can follow along on Instagram at @youaresupernormal for updates and a peek at what’s cooking.
