Studio Tenn Announces Lineup for 2018 – 2019 Season

Studio Tenn has big plans for their upcoming season!

The theatre company recently announced the productions for their 2018 – 2019 season. The five productions make for an impressive lineup that promises to be “bold, dynamic and alive.” Frankenstein, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are just the first three. The Frank Sinatra Legacy: A Tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes and Damn Yankees are also on the season bill.

This is the ninth season for Studio Tenn and they’re incorporating an all-new original production into the season. They’re celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s gothic novel, Frankenstein, with a new stage adaptation by A.S. Peterson. That production runs from Aug. 31 – Sept. 9. After that, they’ll perform the captivating Beauty and the Beast. It runs from Dec. 7 to Dec. 30 — just in time for the holidays.

Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning masterpiece, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, is also on the season list. It runs from Feb. 8 to Feb. 17 before the production of The Frank Sinatra Legacy. This musical tribute is perfectly fit for the Franklin Theater and is showing from March 14 – 17. The production will include hits like “My Way,” “New York, New York” and “Come Fly With Me.” Lastly, Studio Tenn will show Damn Yankees from May 17 – June 2.

The 2018 – 2019 season shows will be held at both the Jamison Theater and the Franklin Theater. Tickets range from $35 – $90 with discounts when you buy tickets to four and five shows. Full information on the season and ticket packages are available on the Studio Tenn website. Season ticket sales and audition dates will be announced soon.
