Details for the St. Jude Rock ‘n Roll Nashville Marathon are Here

The St. Jude Rock ‘n Roll Nashville Marathon & 1/2 details are here. Here’s what you need to know about the marathon series, including a new statement.

This is the 20th running of the marathons and the whole event happens April 25 through April 28. The actual races are on April 27 and April 28 with events leading up to them. They’re “Bringing the Fun to the Run” and registration is open now. On Saturday, runners can register for the marathon (foot race and wheelchair race) for $122, the 1/2 marathon for $102 and the 5K for $58. On Sunday, there’s an option for one mile for $28 and a kids rock event for $28.

This is the fifth year for the new starting line. It’s right in the hustle and bustle of Broadway in downtown Nashville. Runners will pass Music City landmarks like Music Row, Belmont University and the Bicentennial Mall. The course will go past the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Music City Center and more before finishing outside of Nissan Stadium. The 2019 NFL Draft Experience will also add exciting new events to the finish line area.

This year will be bigger than ever! They’re expecting 30,000 participants across all the distances. The Kids Rock will include more than 3,500 kids. More than 50 bands will play along the course at their 27 stages, local cheerleading squads will give runners a little extra pep and there will be an even bigger and better post-race concert at the finish festival.

Not convinced to run yet? Head to their official website, learn more and see the complete schedule. Then, register and help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
