Rock of Ages is coming back to Nashville! The energetic Broadway production hits TPAC‘s Jackson Hall on April 12 and April 13. The mind-blowing, face-melting, tons of fun show will be in town for this limited engagement as part of their 10th Anniversary Tour.
The production takes place in 1987 on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. There, a small town girl meets a big city rocker and they fall in love at Los Angeles’ most famous rock club, Rock of Ages. This show allows audiences to hear their favorite songs from the 80s including hits from Styx, Poison, Twisted Sister and Whitesnake.
Rock of Ages first opened in 2009 on Broadway and played more than 2,300 performances. The show even earned five Tony Award nods including one for Best Musical. Rock of Ages is based on the book by Chris D’Arienzo and arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp. The 10th Anniversary Tour is directed by Martha Banta and choreographed by Janet Rothermel.
