OneRepublic Kicks Off the Bud Light Backyard Tour in Nashville

Thursday night was the first night of the Bud Light Backyard Tour. We were lucky enough to get it right here in Nashville at the Assembly Food Hall Skydeck with OneRepublic and Lindsay Ell.

The Bud Light Backyard Tour is a free national music tour that’s bringing some of your favorite musicians to local venues, complete with backyard vibes (and Bud Light!). Fans lined up early for the show before the doors officially opened at 6 PM which gave them plenty of time to enjoy games, photo ops (the giant swing is awesome!) and drinks. I finally tried the Bud Light Black Cherry Seltzer and it was so good, I had to go back for seconds.

Ell started the night on a high note, with her impressive blend of genres. A few jaws dropped in the crowd as she concluded her set by shredding on guitar while in an impressive near yoga position. Just another reason we think she’s a rockstar!

After a quick break, OneRepublic took the stage on the relatively cool Nashville night. They were met with raucous applause as they positioned themselves at their instruments.

OneRepublic played fan favorites including my personal favorite, “Good Life.” They also took time to play hits from other artists, all of which lead singer Ryan Tedder penned. Did you know he co-wrote “Halo,” a “love letter to Jay-Z,” that was recorded by the iconic Beyoncé? He’s also written with Adele, Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, and even Taylor Swift.

The Backyard Tour is just getting started and it may be coming to your city! Find out more about the tour and see the full lineup here.
