October in Nashville is packed from the start, with can’t-miss concerts from Jon Batiste, Djo, and The Lumineers setting the tone. The month also brings fun events like the Nashville Cultural Festival, Von Elrod’s Oktoberfest, and the Whiskey Festival, alongside special nights like Bad Idea’s Champagne & Fried Chicken soirée. Music fans can also catch Joshua Radin, Brandy & Monica, plus the Nashville Jazz Festival’s soulful Gospel Brunch. From big-name tours to local faves and festive events, October is overflowing with reasons to get out and enjoy Music City.
And when there isn’t a concert or festival on your calendar, there are still plenty of seasonal pop-ups to explore. Check out Oath and Fang at Hidden Bar, wander the rooftop pumpkin patch at Play Playground, or sip a spooky cocktail at Stranger Brews inside East Nashville Beer Works. October 2025 Events in Nashville:
Oct. 1 – Jon Batiste is bringing his tour to the Grand Ole Opry, and this one shouldn’t be missed. His voice and talent in that legendary venue! It’s going to be magical. Get your tickets here and get there early!
Oct. 2 – The beginning of October is stacked with musical talent in Nashville, and Oct. 2 is another show you don’t want to miss! Djo will play The Pinnacle to support his latest album, The Crux. It’s one of our favorite albums of the year, so we’re really looking forward to this one! Grab your ticket.
Oct. 3 – The Lumineers are back in Nashville and, this time, they’re bringing Chance Peña as support. Get there early; you don’t want to miss his set. Tickets are available here.
Oct. 4 – Bring the whole family out for this one at Centennial Park! The Nashville Cultural Festival begins at 10 AM and runs through 6 PM, featuring performances, activities, food, and more. For more information on the festival and its full schedule, please visit here.
Oct. 5 – This is your last chance to experience Von Eldrod’s Oktoberfest. The fun starts on Oct. 2 at 4 PM with “The Big Party” on Oct. 4. The Big Party requires a ticket but Oct. 5 is a free event, open to all ages.
Oct. 6 – Ziggy Marley & Burning Spear take Ryman Auditorium for the Do The Reggae Tour. Tickets are on sale here.
Oct. 7 – The Bad Idea team will be slinging fried chicken along with champagne and caviar specials (until sold out) on Oct. 7. Guests can make reservations on OpenTable here
Oct. 8 – The talented Joshua Radin is kicking off his tour right here in Nashville at 3rd and Lindsley with Brendan James. Get your tickets here.
Oct. 9 – Spooky season is in full swing with Nashville Opera Presents The Shining. The fun starts at 7:30 PM in Jackson Hall, and tickets are available here.
Oct. 10 – Join The Prine Family to celebrate John Prine‘s legacy on Oct. 10 at Ryman Auditorium. The evening (titled The Prine Family Presents: You Got Gold) will also “carry forward the mission of The Hello in There Foundation.” Find out more here.
Oct. 11 – We have a fun event for Nashville whiskey lovers! The Nashville Whiskey Festival is Oct. 11, with VIP tickets allowing access at 5:30 PM and the GA tickets allowing 6 PM access. Find out everything you need to know and get your tickets here.
Oct. 12 – Enjoy an October night under the stars with The Head and The Heart, who are returning to Ascend Amphitheater. The band is touring in support of their new album, Aperture. The show starts at 7 PM.
Oct. 13 – An Evening with Patty Griffin + Rickie Lee Jones is at Ryman Auditorium, beginning at 8 PM. Get your tickets here.
Oct. 14 – The highly anticipated Jonas20 Tour comes to Bridgestone Arena this evening with The All-American Rejects! This is sure to be a fun night for pop fans.

Oct. 16 – Idol Season 21 winner Iam Tongi is coming to Nashville! His fall tour comes to Cannery Hall mainstage, with tickets on sale here.
Oct. 17 – The Bacon Brothers bring The Freestanding Tour to Nashville on Oct. 17. The Bacon Brothers, featuring Kevin and Michael Bacon, will make their way back to the Opry with tickets on sale now.
Oct. 18 – The TN Beer, Wine & Shine Festival at Two Rivers Mansion is from 12 PM to 5 PM for libations and live music. Tickets are on Eventbrite.
Oct. 19 – Jillian Jacqueline is having a second MOTHER Show, in support of her highly anticipated new album, MotherDaughterSisterWife. Jacqueline will share the bill with Caitlyn Smith, Lucie Silvas, Martina McBride, Elle King, Lori McKenna, Ashley Ray, Meg McCree, Rachel Beauregard, and Annie Clements. Tickets are here.
