Oct. 29: What to Watch This Weekend

Between movie theaters, VOD, Redbox, Netflix, and the rest of the streaming platforms, a lot of content dropped this week. I went through and found some of the best options you can watch this weekend.

    Belcourt

    Last Night in Soho

If you are looking for a mind-bending psychological thriller to dive into this weekend, Last Night in Soho is the movie for you. Edgar Wright uses his unique direction to go along with his fantastic soundtracks to leave you on the edge of your seat.

    In Theaters

    Dune

From Prisoners to Arrival to Sicario, Denis Villeneuve is one of my favorite working directors and that’s why Dune has been near the top of my most anticipated movies all year long. The film releases at the same time on HBO Max.

    Antlers

IMDB: “In an isolated Oregon town, a middle-school teacher and her sheriff brother become embroiled with her enigmatic student, whose dark secrets lead to terrifying encounters with a legendary ancestral creature who came before them.”

    Neflix

    Army of Thieves

The prequel to the smash-hit from earlier this year Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves is here. The film lays the groundwork to the zombie apocalypse.

    Redbox

    Old

If you missed M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film when it came out in theaters, it is coming out at Redbox this week. The film follows a group of people on vacation that find an island where they begin to release as each hour passes, they get older and older.
