Exclusive Premiere: Nicole Miller’s ‘Strangers Again’ Lyric Video

"I couldn’t be more excited to share the 'Strangers Again' video with you."

Nicole Miller just released her debut single, “Strangers Again.” Now, we have the exclusive premiere of the song’s lyric video.

“Strangers Again” was written by Miller along with co-writers Victoria Powell and Daniel Kleindienst. With her song, she tells a story we’re all very familiar with. It’s the story of young love and when that love goes south. The honest lyrics paired with her genre-bending vocals make the song a vulnerable one.

We can move out, we can move on, we can try to forget where we’ve been, but we can’t be strangers again,” she sings. The 20-year-old wrote this song from a true story.

“‘Strangers Again’ holds a very special place in my heart because it was one of the first co-writes I ever did in Nashville,” Miller says. “Putting a true story from my past into lyric and melody used to scare me but this song and its co-writers taught me that the best songs come from the most honest places. I couldn’t be more excited to release this song as a Banner Believers artist.”

It’s fitting that when Miller went to create the lyric video, she chose to make it as personal as the song.

“Making this video was so personal to me because it brought me back to how I fell in love with songwriting: just sitting on the bedroom floor with a guitar telling true stories. We wanted the audience to feel like they are right there on the floor, too. Every part of this process felt authentic and the handwriting you see on the screen is actually mine. I couldn’t be more excited to share the ‘Strangers Again’ video with you!”
