Nashville Zoo Summer Splash is Set for July 1

The Nashville Zoo‘s Summer Splash H2Oliday is quickly approaching! The event is a great way to beat the summer heat — and enjoy a family day the zoo.

It’s officially summer and the temperatures are hot! Beat the heat in the best way possible this summer. On July 1, the Nashville Zoo is hosting their Summer Splash H2Oliday where the festival field will turn into a water wonderland. From 9AM to 3PM, they’ll have water slides, water games, attractions and more. “Club Chill” will be an area to relax and cool off and the foam snow will be another refreshing treat.

Kids will have tons of opportunities to get in on the family-friendly fun. They can slide down the inflatable waterslides, play water games, get their faces painted and compete in an ice cream contest. When they get tired of running around, they can enjoy an ICEE sample.

The Nashville Zoo animals will also get in on the cool Summer Splash H2Oliday fun with their own frozen treats. If you want to watch an animal enjoy their cold mealworms, turkey broth popsicles or frozen grapes, grab a zookeeper schedule at the front gate.

The fun-filled event is included with memberships and zoo admission but there may some extra costs for activities. To see more information about Summer Splash H2Oliday, visit the Nashville Zoo’s official website.
