Nashville Symphony‘s Community Concerts series is back. The 2019 schedule showcases the Grammy Award-winning orchestra in free performances at parks in Middle Tennessee.
The Community Concerts have been a part of the Nashville Symphony since 1974. It’s part of their initiative to make great music accessible to everyone in the area and they draw thousands of concertgoers.
This year’s series opens at Centennial Park on June 6 with dates through June 26. That’s part of a partnership with Musicians Corner. There are six other locations throughout Middle Tennessee including two first-time locations: Smith Springs Community Center in Antioch and The Estate at Cherokee Dock in Lebanon.
