Nashville Humane’s adorable (and adoptable) Hairy has an exciting year ahead! He’s joining the Bobby Hotel as their new resident dog. That means, for the next year, he’ll be living at the hotel and will be trained to become a service or therapy dog. Then, he’ll find his forever home with someone in need.
Hairy is a four-month-old retriever mix with tons of puppy energy. According to a release, “He is playful, adventurous and loves hanging with his pals at Nashville Humane, and now will be welcoming those visiting Bobby for the next year.”
This resident dog ambassador program is a new ongoing program for the hotel. Hairy and future dog ambassadors will be trained by dog trainer, Michele Boardman, who has over 25 years of experience. She’s worked with dogs for Animal Planet, Macy’s Spring Flower Show, and numerous other films and TV programs.
