Nashville Film Festival Announces Virtual Festival for 2020

The Nashville Film Festival is going virtual! This year, the film festival will take place online from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7 and it will be their most accessible festival yet. Filmmakers and attendees will get to connect through digital screenings, panels, filmmaker Q&As, musical performances and more. This is an effort to keep everyone safe during COVID-19.

You can attend their more than 200 films, Creators Conference panels or other events from the comfort and safety of their own home. There will even be “virtual social” opportunities so you can connect with filmmakers and film fans.

ā€œLike many other live events around the world, we’ve had to adapt to prioritize the safety, comfort and well-being of our community,ā€ Jason Padgitt, Nashville Film Festival’s executive director, explains. ā€œThis year hasĀ given us an opportunity to think creatively about how we can make the festival more accessible and innovative than ever before and we are excited to deliver a memorable experience that honors all the reasons we’ve become known as aĀ premier event for content creators and film enthusiasts.ā€

The Nashville Film Festival’s full program and film lineup will be announced in August. Stay tuned!
