Music Crush of the Month: Meet Country Music’s Karen Waldrup

Karen Waldrup is a very talented country singer. From her positive attitude to her powerhouse pipes, we’re hooked on August’s Music Crush of the Month.

Waldrup is a New Orleans native and you can hear it in everything she does. She carries a bit of Louisiana with her in all of her music. We’d call it country with a side of NOLA soul. The country singer moved to Nashville, dealt with a lot of crap (we’ll tell you more about that later) and then created the album she’s always wanted to create.

Despite it all, she’s remained incredibly positive and stayed true to her fanbase. That is what we love about Waldrup.
