Kip Moore and Tony Hawk Team Up For Music City Skate Jam

Kip Moore and Tony Hawk are joining forces for the Music City Skate Jam presented by Harley-Davidson. The event happens Sept. 10 at Music City Walk of Fame Park in Nashville.

Although the event sounds like a lot of fun, it’s also for a good cause. Both Hawk and Moore have their own foundations to help kids and that’s what they hope to do at the Music City Skate Jam. They have a mutual goal of “benefiting and empowering youth, the family-friendly event will raise funds for both initiatives.”

“I think what’s always driven me at my core, throughout my career, was to one day have the capability to make a major impact in inner cities around the country,” Moore explains. “I was never a true skater, but always admired the brotherhood of the skating community. Having a chance to team up with a guy like Tony, who’s so respected for all he does, is beyond what I could’ve imagined. I’m super stoked to combine what we do, as we both share similar visions.”

The Music City Skate Jam will have something for every skate, and music, fan. Dee Jay Silver will be on hand to keep the party going in between music performances. Jordan Davis will play a set and Moore himself will headline the night in Nashville. Hawk will also give a skating demo.

“The Music City Skate Jam is the first event of its kind, bringing skateboarding and country music together,” Hawk says. “I’m excited to show Nashville an unprecedented display of talent, including some of the world’s best skaters and Kip Moore himself.”

Tickets for the Music City Skate Jam are now available on Moore’s website and there are a range of packages. General admission tickets are $25 but there are three various VIP packages ranging in price from $150 to $5,000. A portion of the two highest ticket sets are tax deductible.
