On Tuesday night (Oct. 22), MTN DEW turned Ole Red into The Tennessee Original Outpost with the help of LOCASH and Lindsay Ell. The MTN DEW party celebrated home state pride because, after all, the green soda is from right here in Tennessee.
Amy Brown hosted the evening that started with a private party on the rooftop. LOCASH’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust performed an acoustic set that included “I Know Somebody.”
The private party also included DEW-inspired foods and cocktails. The Dewgarita was our personal favorite — 1.5 oz of tequila, dry curacao, MTN DEW and jalapenos. After the party ended, winners, VIPs and media went downstairs for the headlining set.
Ell took the main stage and performed “Waiting On You,” “What Happens in a Small Town” and a few incredible covers. After she showed her guitar skills, LOCASH took the main stage with “Feels Like a Party,” “One Big Country Song” and even a Backstreet Boys cover! They finished the night with “I Love This Life,” where Ell joined them onstage.
