Nashville’s newest dining destination is firing up its ovens and its engines. Moto Moda officially opens to the public on Nov. 20, bringing an unexpected yet effortlessly cool mix of New York–style pizza, mid-century Italian design, and vintage motorcycle culture to Wedgewood-Houston.
Created by founder Jimmy Pruitt, Moto Moda first came to life as an Airstream pop-up before taking shape as a retail shop rooted in men’s apparel and motorcycle lifestyle. Now, with the partnership of hospitality veteran Andy Mumma, the concept has evolved into a full-service pizzeria and community hub inside the award-winning Standard Assembly development. The result is a space that feels both elevated and approachable. It’s part classic pizzeria and part motorsport gallery.
On the Menu
Moto Moda is open daily for lunch and dinner with a menu developed by Executive Chef Wes Scoggins. At its heart: 16-inch New York–style pizzas made with naturally fermented dough. The dough blends artisanal flours and a yeast strain created in collaboration with Nashville’s own Bootleg Biology, cultivated from local wildflowers and the Texas Hill Country. The result is a lightly chewy crust with real depth and character.
Guests can choose from six signature pies — including cheese, pepperoni, sausage and meatball, a white pie, alla vodka, and the fully loaded “Moto Maximum” — plus six rotating seasonal creations. Whole pies are served all day, while slices are available during lunch hours.
The antipasti menu channels mid-century Italian café culture with items like montanara (fried-then-baked mini pizza), portafoglio (folded street pie), olive all’Ascolana, housemade focaccia, giardiniera, cocktail meatballs, and more.
Lunch also brings a lineup of focaccia sandwiches, including the standout Cotoletta Pit-Stop, made with an oven-fried cutlet and housemade sauces.
Dessert keeps things playful and nostalgic with classic tiramisu and a caprino no-bake cheesecake featuring rotating “fantasy flavors,” launching with blue raspberry.
Behind the bar, Bar Manager Corey James leads a cocktail program built on fresh juices and housemade syrups. Expect thoughtful spritzes, Negronis, bourbon and tequila cocktails, an amaro-forward section, and a curated list of wines and local beers.
Design & Atmosphere
Moto Moda’s home is a 1940s trucking company building, thoughtfully reimagined into a 5,000-square-foot space that celebrates transportation history and Italian design. Inside, a rotating selection of for-sale vintage motorcycles — spanning the 1950s to today — are showcased like sculptural art pieces.
The space is open and airy, with original wood beams, six glass-paneled garage doors, and industrial materials warmed by rich textures and soft lighting. Motor oil–colored plates, black checkered tablecloths, and candlelight set the tone, while vinyl records spinning on the stereo bring the vibe together.
A dedicated retail hub features Moto Moda apparel and motorcycle accessories curated by Mumma and Pruitt, rounding out the lifestyle experience.
Outside, the dog-friendly patio and flexible gathering spaces set the stage for events, car and bike meetups, and community hangouts. This is all part of Moto Moda’s mission to build a cultural hub for enthusiasts and neighbors alike.
Moto Moda blends Italian comfort food, motorsport artistry, and Nashville’s creative energy into one cohesive, inviting destination. Reservations for lunch and dinner are available through OpenTable, with walk-ins welcome.
