Miley Cyrus is gearing up to release her new album this Friday and she’s giving us a sneak peek of one of the tracks. “Rainbowland” is a duet with her godmother, the iconic Dolly Parton.
Cyrus’ Younger Now drops this Friday and the album is a reinvention of the pop star. We’ve already heard “Malibu,” the record’s first single as well as the title track. To really get fans excited about the release, she’s using social media to tease other songs. On Tuesday, she took to socials to share “Rainbowland.”

“Rainbowland” is a duet with Cyrus’ godmother, Parton. The upbeat song is a country-infused pop track with a positive message. The track appears to have a message about equality — namely for members of the LGBTQ community.
“Livin in a Rainbowland, where you and I go hand in hand…. Oh I’d be lyin’, if I said this was fine, all the hurt and the hate goin’ on here…. We are rainbows me and you, every color every hue let’s shine through. Together we can start livin’ in a Rainbowland!”
Listen to the sneak peek of “Rainbowland” in the Instagram post above and pre-order Cyrus’ Younger Now before its release.
