Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is getting a fresh new spot to sip. Middleman Nashville, opening this spring, is a cocktail-forward concept designed to be exactly what its name suggests: a place that connects people.
The concept takes inspiration from the “middlemen” of history and translates that idea into a modern gathering space. Located between two restaurants, Middleman serves as a welcoming link where guests can enjoy thoughtfully crafted drinks.
The cocktail program, led by Ashley Santoro, encourages discovery. Guests can sip creative cocktails featuring Southern-inspired twists, explore small-batch Tennessee whiskeys, and uncover rare or off-menu spirits with rich stories behind them. It’s a place to ask questions, engage with the bar team, and make each visit a personal experience.
Middleman’s design mirrors its concept of connection. Inspired by European arcades, the space features a covered passageway with bright glass atriums, symmetrical walkways, and eclectic furnishings that make every corner feel like a small discovery. It’s a stylish yet approachable environment for conversation, drinks, or pre- and post-dinner gatherings.
With seating for 83 and a food menu designed to complement the drinks, Middleman Nashville is more than a bar.
