If you’re a fan of Megan Moroney (and honestly, who isn’t?), you need to check out her Emo Cowgirl takeover at L27 Rooftop Lounge atop the Westin Hotel in downtown Nashville. The dreamy, ultra-pink pop-up kicks off June 6 and runs through Aug. 31, so you’ve got all summer to soak in the vibes and snap some seriously cute pics.
From the moment you step out of the elevator, you’re welcomed into Megan’s world. The space is filled with adorable nods to her signature style, including pink bows decorating the walls, lyrics from her songs artfully displayed, and even a mirror made for selfies. Plus, there are curated outfits from her shows you can pose with. And trust us, they make the perfect backdrop for your next Insta post.
In true Megan fashion, there’s exclusive Emo Cowgirl merch available (those white boots though), and it’s as cute as you’d expect. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just love a good theme, it’s a must-see.
But it’s not just about the looks, the food and drinks are worth the visit alone. Our favorite cocktail? The Spicy Meg. It’s Megan’s bold take on a spicy marg with jalapeño-infused Cazadores tequila, lime, and agave. Warning: it packs more heat than you’d expect, but it’s so good. We didn’t get to try it ourselves, but we’ve heard the Georgia Girl is another standout.
On the food side, don’t sleep on the Buttermilk Bourbon Fried Chicken Sandwich. It comes on a sweet potato bun and features bourbon-brined chicken thigh, green tomato chow-chow slaw, pickled red onions, hot honey, and pimento aioli. It was hands-down our favorite bite of the night.
