Soul singer, Maxwell, is embarking on a 50-date tour. 50 Intimate Nights Live stops in New Orleans, Atlanta and even Nashville.
On Monday, Maxwell announced the tour that will hit North American theatres. That tour includes Nashville’s very own Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Nov. 18. The news comes after his performances at North North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam and Afropunk Paris. These will be intimate shows that will include new tunes as well as his most-loved hits.
Tickets for the tour go on sale July 27. Along with regular tickets, there will be a limited number of VIP packages. Those go on sale early on July 25. The VIP packages can include a front row seat, meet and greet and limited edition merchandise. VIP packages are available here.
Last month, Maxwell debuted a new single, “We Never Saw It Coming.” The reflective new song is his first single since 2016. Along with it came a chilling music video-short film. The video stars Maxwell and activist/actress/model Yomi Abiola. It was written and directed by Jay Z collaborators Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. Watch that video below.
A 20th-anniversary reissue of Maxwell’s 1998 Embrya is also coming this fall. Stay tuned for more details on that. For now, you can download Maxwell’s newest single by clicking on the album art below.
