Marty Stuart Reveals Ken Burns Documentary Celebration at The Ryman

Marty Stuart just revealed some big news. Not only is he touring, but he’s also coming to Ryman Auditorium for a celebration of Ken Burns’ documentary.

Stuart was interviewed for and appears throughout Burns’ new 16-hour doc series, Country Music. The eight-part series traces “the evolution of country music over the course of the twentieth century, as it eventually emerged to become America’s music.” The first episode of the series will debut on PBS on Sept. 15 at 7 PM.

On March 27, Stuart will come to the Mother Church for Country Music: A Celebration of the Film by Ken Burns. Burns will host the evening which features Dierks Bentley, Rosanne Cash, Vince Gill, Brenda Lee, Kathy Mattea, Ricky Skaggs, Dwight Yoakam and more. It will be filmed for PBS and tickets are available here.

Aside from that news, Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives are also going on tour with The Steve Miller Band. Stuart will support the legendary rock band starting on June 13 in Iowa. They’ll also play in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois and more. Tour dates are below and more information, as well as ticket information, is available on Stuart’s official website.
