The rescue shared the news on Twitter on Wednesday (June 19). “One day you’re standing in a kill shelter with no room to lie down. A few days later you’re the foster dog of [Luke Bryan] and [Caroline Bryan]. Kimee can’t believe it. We are so grateful for all of our fosters. #changinglives”
We first saw the heartbreaking photo of Kimmie just a couple of days ago. Proverbs shared a photo of her in her tiny cage at Dickson Animal Control. “She couldn’t even lie down in the four by four run,” they wrote.
Now, she’s living the good life at the Bryan household and we could not be happier! You may recall that earlier this year they adopted a dumped 18-year-old dog that lived with them for the last eight days of his life. This is just another reason why they’re one of our favorite country couples.
Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue “is committed to ‘Helping His Helpless’ through quality care and healing, adoptions, and population control awareness.” They do a ton of great work locally. If you’re looking to give a dog or cat a fur-ever home, head to their website and schedule a meet and greet. If you’re not ready, donate to their organization. Donations don’t have to be monetary contributions.
