Lorrie Morgan isn’t just a country music icon, she’s also a major foodie, even calling food her “love language.” To Eat or Not to Eat. That is the Question is her cookbook and it’s out now. It includes recipes, photos fans have never seen and stories from Morgan’s life and career.
“Of all the recipes I’ve ever made, from southern classics passed down from my family to favorite dishes I’ve experienced while traveling the world, I’ve pulled together some of my absolute faves,” Morgan says. “Remember to always sprinkle with a little bit of love.”
The cookbook includes recipes like fried chicken, fried okra, fries, family recipe slaw and potato salad, sandwiches, hamburgers and more.
Morgan’s love for food goes beyond this new cookbook. She also recently opened her own restaurant and bar in Panama City Beach, Lorrie Morgan’s Spicy Hot Chicken Coop. The eatery brings traditional Nashville hot chicken to the gulf coast. There’s also live music, karaoke and more in a warm, inviting environment that’s also family-friendly.
