Watch Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne Join Little Big Town at the Ryman

Little Big Town pulled out more surprises for their Sunday night show at the Ryman. Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne joined them on stage.

Last year, the band announced they would be the first-ever band to hold a residency at the Mother Church. They residency started earlier this year when they released their album, The Breaker. They’ve been playing the Ryman ever since and now there are only a few dates left. Two dates in September and one night in November are all that remain. This weekend, the quartet played three sold-out shows at the historic venue and they brought out some huge surprises. Miranda Lambert was one of the biggest, but none of them disappointed.

We were fortunate enough to be at the Mother Church for their Sunday show and it was amazing. Not only did Little Big Town play their biggest hits, they also surprised us with a couple of artists. They brought out Brothers Osborne first and were met with loud applause. TJ and John could hardly believe they were joining LBT — and at the Ryman, of all places. “This is still crazy,” TJ told the audience.

They sang “Loving Me Back” from their album, Pawn Shop, and LBT joined them on harmonies. Karen Fairchild gushed that it was her favorite song on their album. They also performed “The Breaker,” the song they co-wrote for LBT’s recent album. The audience gave the brothers a standing ovation (the first time the balcony stood the entire night).

A little later in the night, Maren Morris (and her adorable new pale pink hair) took the stage. Concertgoers were thrilled to see her. They performed two songs together including Morris’ breakout hit, “My Church.” Once again, the surprise guest brought the crowd to their feet for another standing ovation.

If you can get your hands on tickets to the last three dates for Little Big Town’s residency, we highly recommend it. Not only will the “Girl Crush” singers impress you with their impeccable harmonies, they’ll probably bring a few surprises, too.
