Lil Wayne cut his show in Bristol, Virginia short after making comments that left fans thinking he was quitting his joint tour with Blink-182.
The 36-year-old rapper performed approximately 20 minutes, according to fans on social media. He then told the crowd, “This might be my last night” before adding, “That’s not my swag.”
“Hold on. I just want the people to know — if you’re wondering, please forgive me… But I am so not used to performing to a crowd and there’s not too many, you know, like still… That’s not my swag. I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway,” the rapper said. Less than 24 hours after the incident, Lil Wayne spoke out saying that he won’t be quitting the tour.
