Lifehouse and Switchfoot are teaming up for the first time for their Looking for Summer Tour and they’re bringing it to Nashville this summer.
The tour starts on July 23 in Denver and they’ll play more than 30 shows in the U.S. and Canada. Looking for Summer will run through the fall with a stop in Nashville on Aug. 18. Lifehouse and Switchfoot, with special guest Brynn Elliott, will play the Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel. Tickets are on sale now.
Rock band Lifehouse released their debut album No Name Face back in 2000. That album featured their smash hit, “Hanging by a Moment,” which spent 20 weeks in the Top 10. It also won the Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year. That was only the beginning of the band’s success. Since then they’ve sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and released several more hit singles.
Switchfoot released their debut, The Legend of Chin, back in 1997. Their 2003 record, The Beautiful Letdown, has been their most commercially successful record so far. It was certified double platinum. Their success continued in 2011 when they were nominated for, and won, a Grammy.
Tickets to see Lifehouse and Switchfoot’s Looking for Summer tour are on sale now through Live Nation.
