Zach Braff is a talented actor but he’s also a skilled director. He let that talent really shine in his directorial debut back in 2004. Garden State was a beautiful film all the way around. The storyline, the attention to detail, the dry humor, and the acting all made it a can’t miss film but it’s more than that. It’s also full of real-life lessons.
Here are 8 lessons about life & love from Garden State:
Music can change your whole world.

It’s ok to cry (and laugh).

Life hurts sometimes.
People are willing to fight for what (and who) they love.

The only person you need to impress is yourself.

We’re all original.

Your “people” will make you feel safe.

Never be afraid to be yourself.

As the film says, good luck exploring your infinite abyss.
