Lauren Alaina to Perform at 2019 Symphony Fashion Show

Lauren Alaina is the featured performer for the 2019 Symphony Fashion Show.

The 14th annual event happens on May 14 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. Symphony Fashion Show chairmen Cynthia Arnholt and Allison Schaufele revealed the news at the kickoff party at Gus Mayer. Wes Gordon, Creative Director of Carolina Herrera New York, has already been announced as this year’s featured designer.

“Lauren Alaina’s prodigious talent, one-of-a-kind exuberance and undeniable relatability are as evident now as when she wowed audiences and judges alike as a contestant on American Idol,” they said. “Pairing Lauren with Wes Gordon continues the Symphony Fashion Show tradition of showcasing the brightest talent from the worlds of fashion and music, and we’re so thrilled to have them both on board for what promises to be an incredible evening supporting the Symphony’s work throughout the Middle Tennessee community.” 

The fashion show is presented in partnership with Gus Mayer and it’s one of the leading runway shows in Music City. Proceeds support the Nashville Symphony’s education and community engagement programs. These programs reach tens of thousands of Middle Tennessee children and adults through free concerts, classroom activities, hands-on instruction and more annually. They also help to sustain the Nashville Symphony’s mission of achieving artistic excellence through outstanding performances, world premieres, commissions and Grammy-winning recordings.
