Vanderpump Rules’ LaLa Kent: ‘When Tupac Died He Took Over My Body’

Vanderpump Rules‘ feisty LaLa Kent stopped by Sirius XM to chat with Jenny McCarthy. While there, she mentioned that Tupac has a lot to do with her personality — and we mean a lot.

Kent and McCarthy briefly discussed Kent’s return to Pump Rules, her growth on the show and whether or not she prepares for her scenes. While that was interesting, it wasn’t until McCarthy posed a question about Kent’s roots that things really took a fascinating turn.

“I was gonna ask you, how did this like sweet, beautiful, Utah girl turn into like this cool, hood chick?” McCarthy asks the reality star. “You’re Instagrams and Snapchats and stuff are like so sexy funny but they’re hood.”

“I don’t know where that comes from. I mean, I’m a firm believer when Tupac died he took over my body,” she says seriously. “I know you’re laughing but I’m being for real… I’m sure he’s not thrilled with his new encasing but I’m not thrilled about the temper.”

Kent says she also just got some fresh ink that reads ‘Thug Life.’ The tattoo is on her ankle, up and down, in her own writing but she says it looks like “a prison stamp.”

“The thing is, I’ve never even been in a fight before. I am as bougee and white as they come.”
