Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s film, A Star is Born, is one week from its release. Now, the pair have released their music video for their duet, “Shallow.”
Finally! The track we’ve been hearing over and over in the film’s trailer is officially out. We get to hear it in all its glory and it’s everything we hoped it would be.
The video for “Shallow” features scenes from the film as well as the performance of this song from the movie. In the music video, Gaga dazzles an audience (and Cooper’s character) while onstage, gets cozy with Cooper’s character and even rides behind him on his motorcycle. There’s also a little violence. This is a great glimpse at the film just one week before its release.
The chemistry between Cooper and Gaga is undeniable, even just in this short music video. Lady Gaga recently sat down to chat with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show and couldn’t help but gush about Cooper — and his talent.
“He makes you feel comfortable right away and he’s such a loving and caring person,” she said. “We’re both from the east coast, we’re both Italian, so before I knew it, I was heating up leftovers in the kitchen and feeding him. We were talking about life.”
“And then we started to sing together at the piano, a song by Creedence Clearwater Revival, ‘Midnight Special,’ and I heard his voice and I stopped dead in my tracks and I said, ‘Oh my gosh, Bradley, you can sing.’ He sings from his soul.”
A Star is Born hits theaters on Oct. 5.
