This might be my favorite transformation of Hidden Bar yet.
La Puerta, the latest pop-up at the newly renovated Hidden Bar inside Noelle, is an immersive summer experience that instantly transports you to Tulum and you don’t even need a passport. The moment we pushed open the “storage” door and stepped inside, we were swept away by candlelight, tropical textures, moody vibes, and the steady pulse of Latin beats. It’s truly a photo-worthy escape tucked right in the heart of downtown Nashville.
The space feels more elevated than ever before, and I mean that both in design and experience. Hidden Bar has always been creative with its pop-ups, but this sultry summer concept is on another level. It’s lush, mysterious, and full of little surprises. Have your cameras (and cocktail cravings) ready.
This particular night, we sampled several drinks from the bar’s new menu and genuinely loved every single one. But the mezcal and tequila-forward cocktails stood out, especially The Volcano. It’s well balanced with spice (thanks to hot honey) and sweetness (thanks to guava), and quite possibly my new favorite cocktail in Nashville. (Yes, it’s that good.) We also couldn’t resist the churros with chocolate. These are a must-order treat that pairs perfectly with whatever you’re sipping.
Pro tip: Start your week with Mezcal Mondays (5–7 PM) for curated tastings. As the weekend heats up, the bar transforms for Jungle After Dark every Friday and Saturday night starting at 9 PM, featuring a rotating lineup of Latin house, tribal rhythms, Afrobeat, and deep EDM.
