College football personality Kirk Herbstreit traded the broadcast booth for the counter at Raising Cane’s Nashville Flagship on Broadway on Tuesday… and he didn’t come alone. His gorgeous golden retriever, Peter, joined him for a fun event that blended sports hype with Music City energy.
Fresh off Conference Championship Weekend and the final College GameDay of the regular season, Herbstreit spent the morning chatting with media and serving fans chicken-finger meals.
Inside the Broadway flagship, media packed in for selfies, signatures, and a chance to hear Herbstreit’s thoughts on the upcoming College Football Playoff. He weighed in on the Heisman finalists, offered early bowl-season predictions, and even teased some pro-level insights ahead of the NFL Draft and Super Bowl.
Herbstreit also spoke about his long-standing friendship with Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves, calling him “like family.”
“I’m a chicken snob, and the Chicken Fingers make me come back again, again and again,” Herbstreit told the media. “Todd treats his friends and family so well — he’s like a brother to me.”
