    Kevin James Set to Bring Stand-Up Show to TPAC

    Emmy-nominated actor Kevin James is coming to Music City! The King of Queens actor will bring his stand-up comedy show to TPAC‘s Jackson Hall on Sept. 27.

    The comedian started his stand-up career on the Long Island comedy scene. He was discovered in the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival and then signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom. The King of Queens premiered two years later and ran for nine seasons. James starred in the sitcom as well as held the role of executive producer. The show earned him an Emmy nod in 2006 for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

    James’ impressive career also includes the starring role and executive producer role in Kevin Can Wait. He also co-wrote, produced and starred in Paul Blart: Mall Cop and its sequel. In April of 2018, James’ comedy special, Never Don’t Give Up, premiered on Netflix. These are just a few of the credits on his resume.
